I am an Assistant Professor in Department of Statistics & Data Science and Department of Computer Science (Division of Computational and Mathematical Sciences) at MBZUAI (Mohamed bin Zayed University of Artificial Intelligence). Prior to that, I was a faculty member at the University of Rochester and received my Ph.D. degree in Computer Science at the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign (UIUC), where I am lucky to be advised by Dr. Hanghang Tong.

Research

My research aims to develop personalized AI system to model and understand the interconnected world. It mainly investigates the following questions in three big themes: If your research interests include graph mining, generative AI (e.g., LLMs, diffusion models, flow models), personalization, and trustworthy AI, please feel free to reach out!
